Darstellung vom jungen König Edward VI. (1537 - 1553), Sohn von König Henry VIII. und seiner dritten Ehefrau Jane Seymour. Edward ist als Halbfigur, leicht nach rechts geneigt, in einem ovalen, beschrifteten Rahmen gezeigt. Er trägt ein langes Hemd, darüber ein besticktes Wams mit kostbaren Knöpfen und engen Ärmeln, die bis zum Handgelenk reichen, eine mit Hermelin besetzte Schaube (Mantel) mit weiten Ärmeln, die hingegen nur bis zum Ellenbogen reichen, einen Gürtel mit Schwert und ein Barett mit Feder auf dem Kopf. Neben dem Rahmen in den Ecken der Abbildung befinden sich: das königliche Wappen (links oben), eine Rose (rechts oben), ein schreitender Löwe mit Krone (links unten) und ein Greif (rechts unten).
